About Us

"Quality of life", an expression frequently used to measure the general wellbeing of a person, seeking to find meaning in the activities of daily living.  Especially in the experience of aging and disabilities, this expression too often tends to overshadow the "sanctity and dignity of human life" which is the cornerstone of Catholic Social Teaching and the Catholic commitment to the common good.  These are the core principles for our ministry at the San Juan Nursing Home.

San Juan Nursing Home was founded by Fr. Jose M. Aspiazu, OMI in 1965, and opened its doors to the public in 1966. Since then, families from both local and surrounding communities have been served. Our goal is to meet our resident's needs in an individual, comprehensive and timely manner, to provide a quality standard that seeks to improve their overall health, social, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. We firmly believe that aging persons and persons with disabilities should be able to live in security and dignity.
